Photo session in the dog exercise area

Sometime after we had started Happy Puppy, we decided it was time for some PR photos of the team - now Joshi and Sibi. What could have been a better location for photos to go on a dog-sharing website than a public exercise area for dogs?

We were grateful for the help provided by a befriended hobby photographer and some well-known dog owners who took the time to bring along their wet-nosed companions. Several curious passers-by were also prepared to have pictures taken of their canine pals.

Of course, the dogs were supposed to take center stage, but dogs don’t always obey the command to keep still like humans do. Several tiny bribes were required, snacks and playthings, just to be able to capture a static pose in the few seconds they stayed in one place. The camera was often perfectly focused, but the shutter was hit a millisecond too late. Nevertheless, by the end of the session we managed to put together a good collection of snapshots.
