Deborah met dog Sammy via Happy Puppy and now spends time with him regularly. It gives her a healthy balance to her office job while also relieving dog owners Sebastian and Nicole.
Looking for support
When Nicole was pregnant with their second child, it became harder to meet their dog's needs: long walks, mental stimulation, training or sports – it was tough to fit everything into everyday life. Together with Sebastian she looked for support. A quick Google search led them to happy-puppy.app, where they signed up.
A happy coincidence
At the same time, Deborah was looking for a way to get more movement and balance into her routine. “Anything is better than the gym,” she laughs. On Happy Puppy she found Sammy’s profile – and reached out to Sebastian and Nicole.
The chemistry was right from the very first meeting. Thanks to Nicole’s daughter the conversation flowed easily, and Sammy felt comfortable right away. “They put Sammy straight into my hands, and it worked immediately,” Deborah recalls.
One dog, two families, many happy moments
Since then, Deborah and Sammy have been spending time together on a regular basis. Walks, little adventures and shared routines are now part of everyday life. Over time, Sammy settled in more and more and is always excited when Deborah comes by.
Nicole is delighted by the change: “It didn’t used to matter much to Sammy when the doorbell rang. Today you can really see how happy he is when someone comes to take him out.”
A win for people and pets
Thanks to Happy Puppy, Sebastian and Nicole found the support they needed. Deborah has a loyal four-legged companion who brings her movement and joy. And Sammy enjoys the extra attention and outings that do him good.
In the end, everyone benefits: the owners, the dog borrower — and of course Sammy.
